Delivery costs are worked out according to the final weight of your parcel.
To check the delivery costs on any item, simply add it to the
shopping bag, then choose a delivery option from the menu on the
shopping bag page and it will be worked out automatically for you.
You can easily remove items from the basket should you wish to change
something or not proceed with the order.
For overseas delivery, please click the link underneath the drop down
delivery option menu on the Shopping Bag page to change the country
and the new shipping options & costs will be shown.

Deliveries
Standard Delivery Option
Sent by Royal Mail 24 or 48 usually arriving in 1 to 3 days
Urgent Delivery Option
Sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery or UPS Next Day Courier arriving
in 1 to 2 days
Please Note :
* All deliveries require someone to be in to received them. If you
are out, a card should be left for you to re-arrange delivery. Please
do so promptly to ensure your parcel is not returned to us. We can
ask the postal service to leave with a neighbour or in a safe place
if you instruct us to do so at your own risk.
* Urgent orders placed after 12.00
Midday are usually sent the next working day. If the order is placed
after 12.00 Midday on a Friday, this normally means despatch may not
be until the following Monday. If you have an urgent request
please send us an email and we'll do all we can to get your order
sent out ASAP.
* Delivery times exclude bank holidays & Urgent deliveries are
not always made on weekends.
* Highland areas & UK Isles may take a day or two longer.

What do I do if my delivery hasn't arrived ? (UK
deliveries only)
The delivery services I use are extremely reliable and it's very rare
for a delivery to be late, but should your parcel not arrive within 2
to 3 days of receiving your despatch email (1 - 2 days for urgent),
please follow these steps :
1. In the first instance please contact the relevant postal service
used in case they have already tried to deliver. In the majority
of cases the parcel will most likely be waiting for you at your local
royal mail or UPS depot for collection if no one was in to receive at
the time of delivery. Unfortunately whilst Royal Mail are
supposed to leave a "we tried to deliver" card, they do
sometimes forget or run out, so we do please ask that you check with
your local royal mail depot before panicking that you order is
late or lost.
2. If after speaking or visiting your local royal mail depot (or UPS
if your parcel was sent by courier) and they are not able to locate
your parcel please email info@steampunkgifts.co.uk &
I will investigate as to why your parcel is late & rectify the
problem for you as soon as possible. |

Sent by UPS Express Airmail
Delivery aim in Europe approximately 1 to 3 days depending on location
Delivery aim rest of the world approximately 1 to 7 days depending

* Delivery times may be longer to some regions
* Import duty & tax may be payable upon delivery to countries
that are not part of the EU
* Deliveries can sometimes be delayed due to customs clearance to
countries not part of the EU

Overseas deliveries only :
Who will deliver my parcel ?
If you choose the standard service this will normally be sent by
Royal Mail in the UK on a priority handling airmail service. The
parcel will then be handed over to your countries usual postal
service for delivery to you. In the majority of cases you can use the
same tracking number we issue with your local postal service to track
your parcel.
If you have chosen Urgent shipping, then this will go by a dedicated
courier and will be fully trackable from door to door.
What do I do if my delivery hasn't arrived ?
Although the delivery services we use are extremely reliable and all
parcels are sent on a priority service, the delivery times for
overseas shipments are given as an estimated guide only. Because of
Royal Mail & the Couriers terms we have to wait until 28 working
days have past before a parcel will be classed as lost and the postal
service will investigate (10 working days for urgent). However, if
your parcel hasn't arrived within the approximate times listed, we
would certainly recommend checking with the relevant postal service
(& your local postal service in your country if Royal Mail are
used to despatch) to see if they can find out what the delay is.
Parcels sent to countries outside of the European Union will need to
be customs cleared which can inevitably cause some delays.
